Our Story

 

The idea to launch the Splash Shampoo bar came into being by Me Terri; I am a former professional hairdresser with over 25 years experience in the hair industry.  As well as owning my own Hair salon I also owned 3 professional hair care stores in Auckland, NZ.

I have always had a passion for hair and scalp care and this has led me to create “Splash” a Shampoo bar made of natural ingredients produced right here in good old NZ.

My business partner Jane and I have known each other for over 10 years, I became involved with Jane when I worked for her and I loved her and her husbands' enthusiasm for bringing new and exciting products to the NZ market over the last 25 years, including the famous Sweepa Rubber bristled broom (made famous by hair salons), and the 100% natural At1 Konjac Sponge, to name a few. She is passionate about her product choices and making a difference to the environment.

We have found people who we consider to be some of the best Shampoo bar makers in New Zealand.

We would like to make a special mention to Jackie Zeigler whose inspirations, talent and friendship have been truly appreciated.
